The event titled “Maritime Transport: The Backbone of the Global Economy” was held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 13:00, from an academic perspective addressing the strategic role of maritime transport in global trade and logistics systems.
The event featured Research Assistant Mert Abay as the speaker, who shared insights on the role of maritime transport in economic development, the global supply chain, maritime trade volumes, and the sustainability dimension of the sector.
