




Short CV for Serdar BOZ:
Serdar BOZ graduated as the top of his class from Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Maritime, Department of Marine Transportation Engineering in 2012. He later earned his Master’s degree in Maritime Business Administration from Iskenderun Technical University. His professional sea career began in 2009 as a deck cadet and progressed steadily through the ranks of 2nd Officer, Chief Officer, and eventually Oceangoing Master. Over the years, he has served on a wide range of tanker vessels, including oil/chemical tankers, LR1, Aframax, Suezmax, and VLCCs, gaining extensive operational and managerial experience in international waters.
He has worked for leading maritime companies such as GEDEN Lines, Zenith Ship Management, Imza Marine, YASA Tanker, and currently serves as HSEQ at Beks Tanker Management. In addition to his sea service, he has contributed to training and documentation development, conducted navigation audits, and translated Shell LET trainings into Turkish. His core competencies include tanker cargo operations, bridge resource management, incident investigation, safety and environmental compliance (ISM, MLC, MARPOL), and navigation in challenging conditions such as icy waters. “
